I was finally able to obtain one of my favorite single malts, after many years of missing it. The Knockando Master Reserve 21 year old (1990). Knockando has not been sold in the US for at least ten years, if not more. I was able to get a bottle from the UK through the Whisky Exchange. I opened it on 09/10/2015 and it was heaven. It’s a very sherried malt with a little spice. Dark in color and is pretty smooth. It was well worth the trouble to get it!

Not really a tasting, but on 06/14/2015 we tasted a rare bottle of The 10 yo Macallan Cask Strength. It was a very tasty dram at 58.1%. Sherry finished and had good legs. Nicely sherried.
